Groupe E operates the electricity grid in many municipalities in the cantons of Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Vaud. Since 2026, households and businesses in the same municipality can form a local electricity community (LEG) and share solar power from their neighbourhood over the Groupe E grid. With an LEG in the Groupe E grid you save up to 2.01 Rp./kWh (incl. VAT) on the variable grid fees for the power you draw from the community in 2027. The exact figure depends on your tariff variant.
