EBL operates the electricity grid in many municipalities in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Since 2026, households and businesses in the same municipality can form a local electricity community (LEG) and share solar power from their neighbourhood over the EBL grid. They pay lower grid fees for that power. This page shows what that means in the EBL grid: the saving, the LEG price, the grid tariff and the ElCom electricity price.
With an LEG in the EBL grid you save 1.95 Rp./kWh (incl. VAT) on the variable grid fees for the power you draw from the community in 2027.
