AEW operates the electricity grid in many municipalities in the canton of Aargau. Since 2026, households and businesses in the same municipality can form a local electricity community (LEG) and share solar power from their neighbourhood over the AEW grid. They pay lower grid fees for that power. This page shows what that means in the AEW grid: the saving, the LEG price, the grid tariff and the ElCom electricity price.
With an LEG in the AEW grid you save 2.77 Rp./kWh (incl. VAT) on the variable grid fees for the power you draw from the community in 2027.
